Inside itsk.: a showroom that lives like a home
On a quiet square near Marques de Pombal, the itsk. showroom is also its studio, the working base of Kurt de Leeuw and his team. The selection on the floor changes as the projects do.
Everything here is furniture, objects or art the studio uses, recommends and, in its own words, "genuinely likes". That means sculptural, made-to-order furniture; artworks by local and international artists; ceramics; lighting; rugs and books; and some pieces sold only through the studio. Signature brands include Twils, MIDJ, HKliving, Audo Copenhagen, New Works, Vesoi, Eleonora and Santos Monteiro. The room is laid out like a home, not a shop floor.
The showroom is open Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00. Walk-ins are welcome, though the studio would rather you called ahead: "We're sometimes out visiting projects, and we'd rather make time to properly welcome you." Designers, architects and developers can source the same brands at trade prices through itsk.'s B2B Access.
